Why we struggle with Trusting our Voice

Scene: Brainstorming meeting

Last week, we discussed the two ways our voice directs our mind, body, and spirit: in love and trust or fear and doubt. Distrusting our voice comes from distrust in our intuition. Intuition is that inner knowing--that superpower the Creator gifted to us.  Trusting our superpower as a guide, yields love, joy, peace, and compassion. Distrusting our superpower yields anger, resentment, anxiety, sadness, etc.

Dig up the root

I coach using “5 Whys” to get to the root of a problem. Research shows that the “root” is revealed by the 5th “why.”  The final “why” in my work with numerous clients that struggle with trust issues often involves fear of loss and rejection. Since most don’t want to feel either, they operate out of fear and ignore their intuition’s signals to make difficult yet brave decisions.

So dig up the root and challenge your fears by taking an inventory of the many times that things worked out. After you have trusted your intuition and stepped out in courage, didn’t things eventually work out for the better?  Try the “5 Whys” and schedule a free consultation call to discuss your results.

Next week, we will distinguish intuition from misleadings stemming from unhealed trauma.

PS: Mark your calendars! I’m going LIVE from @thebeefreewoman IG account on June 12, 5:30pm-5:50pmPDT for a deeper dive into the concepts from this blog AND answer your questions on trusting your voice!
